We are pleased to announce that Practice Director, Jon Clayton, has been accepted by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists as a fully Chartered Member. Jon will now use the designation MCIAT and Jon Clayton[Complete Plans Ltd] is now a CIAT Registered Practice.
“I’m very proud to be welcomed into the Institute as a Chartered Member, its a real achievement”, said Jon. “This recognises my skills and competence in architectural technology and further demonstrates the quality of service that our clients experience”.
Chartered Architectural Technologists are specialists in the technology of architecture, building design and construction. They are highly skilled and operate in accordance with a strict code of conduct issued by CIAT. Jon will endeavour to ensure all services offered are appropriate to client’s requirements and that terms of appointment have been given in writing and have been understood and accepted before commencing work.
Chartered members are required to ensure they have adequate resources to meet client’s requirements. The practice also maintains professional indemnity insurance to protect clients in the unlikely event of issues occurring. The Institute requires members to keep informed of current practices and developments in the field of Architectural Technology and to develop and enhance their abilities with continuing professional development.
